FD or RD, Which One Is Better For Women?

Nowadays gender equality is one of the important issues arising in our country. The government is taking all action for all ages of women and which is a very good thing for the growth of the country. All banks, whether they are private or government, provide special offers and the interest rates on different investing platforms. Investing money can be risky but the safest among them are Fixed deposits or Recurring Deposit. In which you can easily invest money without any hassle.

Why do most women choose FD or RD?

There are some of the major factors for this and the factors are below for why most women choose fixed deposit or recurring deposit:

  • Higher Interest Rate: These two investing platforms gives the best and higher interest rate in comparative others. Some schemes also offer interest rates up to 9% which is a very good number.

  • Minimum Investment: Women can easily invest money with the smallest amount of Rs 500 and can easily build interest in investment also, in the future they can easily scale their investment whenever they want.

  • Security: Both FD and RD considered to be the safest investing platforms from the past so many years. You can trust both of them.

Which is better, FD or RD?

It is very obvious that the interest rate you will gain in a year will be more than you will gain in one month on the same amount so, in FD you will earn slightly more interest than from RD. So, according to me, FD will be a bit more beneficial than RD.

Conclusion: For long term investment you should go for a Fixed deposit and if you want short term investment then go for a recurring deposit.
